I think the regular power ups were a great addition to the game. I can tell you've paid attention to the detail when developing it. Felt like the game was a little too slow in the beginning to really hit the goldilock zone. I understand that it functions as kind of a tutorial phase though. Speeding it up afterward would do wonders.
